01 Dec FREE WOMEN’S SELF DEFENSE SEMINAR – 1/5/19
In response to a recent incident in Southern California, Gracie Jiu Jitsu Santa Cruz will be offering a Free Women Empowered Self-Defense Seminar on Saturday, January 5th, 2019. This 2-hour seminar is designed specifically for first-time self-defense students, so no experience is necessary, but space is limited, so you must save your spot in advance. The seminar is designed for first-time self-defense students and will teach participants six critical techniques to address the following threat scenarios:
- How to thwart potential attacks by making yourself a “hard target.”
- How to break free from an attacker who grabs you without warning.
- How to avoid being taken to the ground by a determined attacker.
- How to escape from underneath an attacker who has you pinned to the ground.

Absolutely no experience is necessary to participate, and the seminar is open to women ages 13 and up (Note: Anyone under 18 must be accompanied by an adult).
