01 Jan FREE WOMEN’S SELF DEFENSE SEMINAR – 1/14/17
In response to a violent sexual assault in Los Angeles, Gracie University Headquarters and select Certified Training Centers will be teaching special 2-hour seminars around the world for free. The seminar is designed for first-time self-defense students and will teach participants six critical techniques to address the following threat scenarios:
- How to thwart potential attacks by making yourself a “hard target.”
- How to break free from an attacker who grabs you without warning.
- How to avoid being taken to the ground by a determined attacker.
- How to escape from underneath an attacker who has you pinned to the ground.

Learning to be aware of potential real-world dangers and being prepared with realistic and functional strategies is key to staying safe in a real life violent encounter.

Absolutely no experience is necessary to participate, and the seminar is open to women ages 13 and up (Note: Anyone under 18 must be accompanied by an adult).
